An interdisciplinary project in collaboration with the Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service recreated the soon-to-be-demolished Choi Hung Estate in virtual reality (VR), preserving its distinctive character in the digital world. Stories and memories from residents’ everyday lives were incorporated in VR environment and also turned into an e-storybook, creating a valuable record of the community known as “Hong Kong’s most beautiful public housing estate”.
